A message from one of our founders

In April of 2022, I was asked, "Where do you see yourself in a year?" My response was that I wanted to be proud of the organization that I represented. By April of 2023, the Strasburg ACORN location was selected to become the foundation of a different approach to veterinary medicine.

We officially opened the doors on August 16th, 2023 and are grateful for the outpouring of support from the community. Since we opened, multiple people have asked how we differ from other clinics. Our philosophy is that we are essentially like a pediatrician to your furry children. If a parent called their child's pediatrician for something like an ear infection and was told, our next appointment is in three weeks, most parents would quickly be looking for another pediatrician. Unfortunately that is the message that many pet owners get when calling their current veterinarians for appointments, and that is one of the things that will set us apart. We will reserve spots for urgent care, and same day appointments. Simply call us and we will gladly coordinate with you to get your concerns addressed.

Something else that sets us apart, we are not a corporate vet clinic. Come visit us and see the relaxing, welcoming environment, with tons of natural light. There's even a fireplace in our reception area. We are not the high-volume corporate pet store, or feed store vaccine clinics, and a big difference is in the quality of the service that you will receive. You will get a face to face conversation with professional staff and the veterinarian. Simply call our clinic and you will immediately notice that a human answers the phone, it is not a recorded message or automated answering system.
